Default priming oil pump

on a sbf when priming a oil pump, is there a tool you can buy to chuck up in a drill?? or can one be made?? and dumb question which direction do you need to spin it clockwise or counter clockwise. never spun one over without dist, cap so cant remember.

You can make one out of a old distributor and I always spin mine clockwise.

on a 302 base engine take a 1/4 inch deep socket tape it to and extension spin with drill counter clock wise works every time and don't have to buy extra tools. a 351 same deal just use a 5/16 socket.

I do the same thing, but I have a socket welded to an extension after I had to go fishing for socket one time.

Didnt know them Ford oil pumps were capable of withstanding those kinda rpms. Haha
